Angela became drawn to the benefits of a regular yoga practice in 2003 after discovering its benefits in helping one deepen their understanding of the self and achieve balance and well-being. Having been a performer and teacher of many dance disciplines for 15 years, Angela ventured into teaching yoga.

In September 2013, Angela opened Shakti Connection Yoga Studio where she leads heated and non-heated yoga classes along with a team of instructors. Influenced by numerous teachings of anatomical movement and Reiki, Angela works with the subtle bodies as well as the physical.

Before I ever stepped foot onto a yoga mat I always felt like I had something to share with others, it wasn’t until my own personal practice and my teacher training’s with Baron and Kinndli, that it became clear; that it’s actually my life that I want to share. Every moment of my life is an opportunity for me to teach from and maybe just one lesson in my life will resonate with you onto your mat.

This yoga journey that I am on has given me such awareness. I have never held myself so accountable and looked at my spirit so closely. I love how every moment seems to be a lesson I can learn from.
