Kick up your Heels

On Thursday May 23rd, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm, we invite you to join us in the stunning lobby of Koerner Hall at the Royal Conservatory of Music for a truly unforgettable evening of shoes, wine and, of course, excitement! Upon entering the venue, you will find yourself surrounded by forest greenery encircling the glass lobby with live music playing from balconies above your heads. The evening will also feature sommeliers offering ‘wine and shoe pairings’ (such as stilettos with sparkling wine), fabulous food, tutored wine tastings, a rare wine auction and a draw for luxury items such as shopping sprees and wine weekend getaway packages.

After you have taken in the scenery and excitement that is buzzing through the room, you will be treated to the feature event of the evening... a shoe fashion show! The runway will showcase spring outfits by local designers and the season’s hottest heels and footwear. Local celebrity models, such as TV and radio hosts, UHN researchers, and a few special guest surprises, will ramp up the enthusiasm by strutting down the hot pink runway with a celebrity host explaining their look from head to very fashionable toe!
